HMS Tradewind (Lt.Cdr. S.L.C. Maydon, DSO and Bar, RN) departed Dartmouth for Holy Loch. She was escorted by the French submarine chaser Chasseur 12 until 1725/4 when HMS Conqueror (T/Lt. T.W. Craig, RNR) took over the escort. Also HMS Clyde (Lt.Cdr. R.S. Brookes, DSC and Bar, RN) joined for the passage north. (9)
