03:21 - Book review published
After too long a book review hiatus I finally got around to publishing a new one. This time it's for the fantastic title The Battle for Norway, April-June 1940 by Geirr H. Haarr. The topic is slightly off our normal scope but its touches on the U-boat operations off Norway plus the numerous naval operations during the campaign.- Added book review for The Battle of Norway, April-June 1940

23:18 - Revisions of U-boat fates of WWII
I've reworked the information on our revised U-boat fates (about 150 since the end of the war). Now the source of the revision is listed, along with the date. Example of this is the newly revised U-325 which has 3 entries; one from 1993, a revision in 2007 and another one in 2010. This makes it easier to track each detail.

16:56 - Crew lists of Allied ships hit by U-boats
We're compiling crew lists for the ships hit by U-boats in the war, both survivors and those who lost their lives. Already we have 5,600 names and still have a long way to go. Hopefully we can open this new database soon. This project is similar to our Allied Commanders section, each person has its own page and links to the ships in question.
16:53 - Revised U-boat fates
Updated the fates of the following U-boats based on research from Dr. Axel Niestlé; U-325, U-400, U-650 U-1021 and U-1208. These were all late-war type VIIC or VIIC/41 boats lost around south-west England from Dec 1944 to April 1945.
We're compiling a small database on fate revisions since he war (about 150 boats have been updated since then) and we'll show a map on each boat showing where he's been thought to be and where he's been confirmed to lie.
