HMS Sceptre (Lt.Cdr. I.S. McIntosh, MBE, DSC, RN) torpedoes and heavily damages the German merchant Lippe (7849 GRT) off the Foldafjord, Norway in position 64º32'N, 10º38'E. The Lippe is beached but breaks up the following day.

HMS Sceptre (Lt.Cdr. I.S. McIntosh, MBE, DSC, RN) torpedoes and sinks the German merchant Hochheimer (1894 GRT, former British Ronwyn) off Bilbao, northern Spain in position 43º24'N, 03º30'W. In the same attack the torpodoes miss the German patrol vessels V-402 and V-405

HMS Sceptre (Lt.Cdr. I.S. McIntosh, MBE, DSC, RN) torpedoes and sinks the German merchant Baldur (3630 GRT, former Danish Jacob Christensen) off Castro-Urdiales, northern Spain.

HMS Sceptre (Lt.Cdr. I.S. McIntosh, MBE, DSC, RN) torpedoes and sinks the Norwegian merchant Vela (1184 GRT, offsite link) and the German minesweeper M 132 (874 tons) about 11 nautical miles west-south-west of Eigerøya, Norway in position 58º23'N, 05º34'E.

20 Oct 1944
HMS Sceptre (Lt.Cdr. I.S. McIntosh, MBE, DSC, RN) torpedoes and sinks the German auxilary submarine chaser UJ 1111 (527 GRT) off Lister, Norway in position 58º37'N, 05º30'E.
