HMS Gloxinia (Lt.Cdr. A.J.C. Pomeroy, RNVR) picks up 15 survivors from the British tanker Stratford that was torpedoed and sunk 85 nautical miles west-south-west of Bloody Foreland in position 54º50'N, 10º40'W by the German submarine U-137.
