HMS Untiring (Lt. R. Boyd, DSC, RN) sinks the Norwegian fishing vessel Havbris II (Master Andreas Strandkleiv) with gunfire about 55 nautical miles west of the Norwagian coast in position 62º50'N, 02º10'E. Havbris II was fishing for halibut at the time of her sinking. The crew of 7 men was captured and put ashore in the Shetlands 10 days later.

At 0603 hours HMS Untiring (Lt. R. Boyd, DSC, RN) fires four torpedoes against the German submarine U-616 off Toulon, southern France. All four torpedoes missed their target.

14 Dec 1943
HMS Untiring (Lt. R. Boyd, DSC, RN) torpedoes and sinks the German netlayer Netztender 44/Prudente (396 GRT) in Monaco harbour.

6 Jan 1944

HMS Untiring (Lt. R. Boyd, DSC, RN) attacks the German auxiliary submarine chaser UJ 6073/Nimeth Allah off Toulon, southern France in position 43º03'N, 05º43'E. The target was not damaged.

At 1322 hours (time zone -2) sighted an escort vessel at 7100 yards.

At 1342 hours HMS Untiring fires four torpedoes from 2300 yards. The British claim one hit and to have sunk the vessel.

10 Jun 1944
HMS Untiring (Lt. R. Boyd, DSC, RN) torpedoes and sinks the German auxiliary submarine chaser UJ 6078/La Havraise (398 GRT) about 12 nautical miles south-west of La Ciotat, southern France in position 43º08'N, 05º36'E.

At 1133 hours (time zone -3) three torpedoes were fired against an escort vessel 1600 yards away. One minute later a loud explosion was heard. The target was hit and sank in less then a minute.

10 Jul 1944
HMS Untiring (Lt. R. Boyd, DSC, RN) attacks a German patrol vessel with 4 torpedoes off Cannes, southern France. The torpedoes however fail to hit their target.

At 2235 hours (time zone -2), when about to surface for the night, H.E. was detected astern. A little later the source of this H.E. was seen to be a small tug and two chasseurs in line ahead formation.

At 2310 hours Untiring surfaced and as Lt. Boyd was making up his mind as how to attack the rear chasseur challenged Untiring by lamp. Now four torpedoes were fired. The enemy formation broke apart but no hits were obtained. Untiring had dived by now and easily eluded the three enemy vessels. No depth charges were dropped.

4 Oct 1944
HMS Untiring (Lt. R. Boyd, DSC, RN) fires 4 torpedoes against the German torpedo boats TA 18 (former Italian Solferino) off the Kassandra peninsula, Greece. All four torpedoes missed their target.

5 Oct 1944
HMS Untiring (Lt. R. Boyd, DSC, RN) fires 4 torpedoes against the German merchant Burgas off the Kassandra peninsula, Greece. All four torpedoes missed their target.

Untiring also claims to have sunk a sailing vessel with gunfire.
