Submarine HMS Venturer (P 68)

HMS Venturer (Lt. J.S. Launders, DSO, DSC, RN) torpedoes and sinks the German submarine U-864 in the North Sea west of Bergen, Norway, in position 60º46'N, 04º35'E. This is the only known incident in all of naval warfare in which one submarine sinks another while both are submerged.

HMS Venturer (Lt. J.S. Launders, DSO, DSC, RN) torpedoes and sinks the German merchant Sirius (998 GRT) off Namsos, Norway in position 64º38'N, 10º36'E.
