Corvette HMS Snowflake (K 211)

HMS Snowflake (Lt. H.G. Chesterman, RNR) picks up 62 survivors from the British tanker British Ardour that was torpedoed and sunk by German U-boat U-706 in the North Atlantic in position 58°08'N, 34°04'W.

6 May 1943
German U-boat U-125 was sunk east of Newfoundland, in position 52?30'N, 45?20'W, by ramming by the British destroyer HMS Oribi (Lt.Cdr. J.C.A. Ingram, RN) and gunfire from the British corvette HMS Snowflake (Lt. H.G. Chesterman, RNR).
