HMS Forth: He was assistant to the Commander /S/ Third Submarine Flotilla from 30 April 1943 to 1 September 1943
He was a staff officer in the Anti U-Boat Division from 2 May 1944 to 31 December 1945 probably as Commander RNVR
During the war he was sunk at least twice, once in the Mediterranean by a mine during the North African landings
