History Completed in May 1918 as patrol gunboat HMS Kilkeel of the Kil-Class for the Royal Navy. 1920 converted to a trawler and renamed Falconer. 1929 sold to Portugal and renamed Catalina
Notes on loss At 11.34 hours on 15 Jan, 1942, U-203 hit a ship with a torpedo aft of amidship and saw how it sank within two minutes after a heavy explosion. Mützelburg thought that he had sunk an ammunition ship, but his victim was the trawler Catalina (Master Henry Thornhill).
