History  
Notes on loss At 23.23 hours on 20 Apr, 1942, the unescorted Agra was torpedoed and sunk by U-654. The ship had been missed by a spread of three torpedoes from U-136 (Zimmermann) at 16.04 hours the same day. The master and five crew members were lost. Among the 33 survivors were seven passengers.
