| Notes on loss | At 02.10 hours on 11 Jun, 1942, the unescorted Crijnssen (Master W. v.d. Giessen) was hit by two torpedoes from U-504 and sank after being hit by a coup de grâce. The ship was repatriating 12 survivors from the Sylvan Arrow, which had been sunk by U-155 (Piening) on 20 May 1942 and 10 survivors from the Lise, which had been sunk by U-69 on 12 May 1942. | ||
