History Completed in April 1922 
Notes on loss On 20 Jan, 1940, the neutral Segovia (Master Carsten E. Christensen) passed Lands End and was reported missing thereafter, presumed lost the next day off the west coast of Scotland. The master, 21 crew members and one passenger were lost. It is believed that she was sunk by U-55, which did not return from her patrol.
