| Notes on loss | At 21.35 hours on 19 Mar, 1940, U-19 spotted two steamers and attacked the first at 22.21 hours with one torpedo, which struck in the engine room and caused the Minsk to sink within six minutes. At 22.37 hours, a second torpedo was fired, which struck the Charkow and caused her to sink by the stern within four minutes. | ||
