History Built as steam trawler RT-76 Astrakhan for Sevgosrybtrest NKRP. On 20 Sep, 1941, the ship was requisitioned by the Soviet Navy, converted to the minesweeper T-911 (No 65) and assigned to the White Sea Flotilla on 26 November. 
Notes on loss At 15.48 hours on 30 Jul, 1943, U-703 fired a torpedo at T-911 (No 65) off Novaya Zemlya and scored a hit after 90 seconds. The minesweeper was escorting the convoy BA-12 when an U-boat was sighted and the ships continued on a zigzag course at higher speed. She could not keep up, was hit aft on the starboard side and sank by the stern within 50 seconds. 14 survivors were rescued after about 15 minutes by the Soviet minesweeper T-901 (No 55)
