| Notes on loss | At 01.53 hours on 26 Sep, 1940, the Coast Wings (Master Evan Phelps Davies), a straggler from convoy OG-43, was hit in the bow by one torpedo from U-46 southwest of Ireland. The ship disintegrated and debris fell down near the U-boat. | ||
