Notes on loss At 06.33 hours on 17 Feb, 1941, the Edwy R. Brown (Master Andrew Chalmers), a straggler from convoy HX-107, was torpedoed and sunk by U-103 southeast of Iceland. The master, 47 crew members and two gunners were lost.
