| Notes on loss | At 00.46 hours on 2 Mar, 1941, the Pacific (Master Alan Francis King) in convoy HX-109 was hit by one torpedo from U-95 and sank rapidly by the stern about 180 miles west-southwest of Syderöy, Faroe Islands. The ship had been missed by a first torpedo at 00.44 hours. The master and 33 crew members were lost. One crew member was picked up by the Icelandic trawler Dora and landed at Fleetwood on 5 March. | ||
