US Naval Academy Class 1930. Son of Thomas Worth and Kathleen Carney Marshall, of Washington, DC. The destroyer USS Marshall (DD 676) was named in honor of him, sponsored by his mother at Kearny, New Jersey on 29 August 1943.Sources
