Notes on loss

At 10.33 hours on 31 Mar, 1941, the neutral Castor was hit in the foreship by one G7a torpedo from U-46, caught fire and was abandoned by her crew. The master and 14 crew members were lost. The still burning tanker was last seen in 57°58N/30°31W and apparently sank on 3 April.
