Notes on loss

At 20.17 hours on 18 Oct, 1941, U-132 fired one G7a torpedo at a steamer of 1500 grt north of Kackovskij and reported a hit after 16 seconds and the subsequent sinking of the vessel within 30 seconds. The victim was probably RT-8 Seldī which is reported in Soviet sources as lost off the Gorlo Strait by an underwater explosion on 26 October.
