| Notes on loss | At 01.00 hours on 12 Jan, 1943, U-105 fired with the 2cm AA gun into the rigging of C.S. Flight to force the crew to abandon ship in two lifeboats and a raft, but there were too much people on board and many jumped overboard and drowned. The U-boat used hand grenades to sink the vessel and questioned the survivors in the boats before leaving the area. | ||
