| History | Built as German Biscaya for John T. Essberger, Hamburg. On 19 Oct, 1939, the Biscaya was captured off the Faroes by HMS Scotstoun on Northern Patrol and renamed Empire Unity by the Ministry of War Transport (MoWT). In 1947 renamed Stordale for Storship Transports Ltd, London. 1951 renamed Mageolia for T. Pappadrinitriou, Greece. Since 1963 used as depot ship in Piraeus and later broken up at Burriana, Spain in April 1966. | ||
