| Notes on loss | At 10.30 hours on 25 Jun, 1943, the Nisr (approx. 80 tons) was sunk by U-81 with 12 rounds from the deck gun about 15 miles from coast between Gaza and Jaffa. The vessel had been stopped by a shot across the bow and the crew abandoned ship. | ||
