| Notes on loss | At 08.16 hours on 14 Dec, 1940, the Kyleglen (Master Thomas Storer) was torpedoed by U-100 west-southwest of Rockall. On 12 December, the ship had been dispersed in 55°04N/15°30W from convoy OB-256. At 09.16 hours, the vessel was sunk by a coup de grāce. The master and 35 crew members were lost. The U-boat reported the vessel as the Imperial Valley. | ||
