HMS L 27 (Lt. J.N. Elliott, RN) conducted A/S exercises off Bermuda with and HMCS Runnymede (Lt. R.C. Chenoweth, RCNVR), HMCS Joliette (Skr.Lt. G.N. Downey, RCNR), HMCS Arrowhead (Skr.Lt. L.A. Hickey, RCNR) and HMCS Mahone (T/Lt. L.R. Hoar, RCNVR). (1)

HMS L 27 (Lt. J.N. Elliott, RN) conducted A/S exercises off Bermuda with HMCS Runnymede (Lt. R.C. Chenoweth, RCNVR), HMCS Joliette (Skr.Lt. G.N. Downey, RCNR), HMCS Nene (T/A/Lt.Cdr. E.R. Shaw, RCNR) and HMCS Cobalt (T/A/Lt.Cdr. R.M. Wallace, RCNVR). (1)

22 Nov 1944
HMCS Joliette (A/Lt.Cdr.G.N. Downey, RCNR) ran aground in Lough Foyle, causing extensive damage to her hull. She was repaired at Belfast from 5 December 1944 until 5 April 1945.

HMS Universal (Lt. S.S. Brooks, DSC, RN) conducted A/S exercises off Loch Alsh with HMCS Thetford Mines (T/Lt. J.A.R. Allan, DSC, RCNVR) and HMS Joliette (T/A/Lt.Cdr. W.E. Harrison, RCNVR). (2)
