History

HrMs O 20 (Lt 1e Klasse Pieter Gerardus Johan Snippe) was scuttled by her own crew, 25 miles east of Kota Baru, to prevent her capture by the Japanese destroyer however the Commanding officer and 6 others died the Rest were saved by the Uranami and made Prisoners of War Uranami (offsite link). She was damaged by depth charges from the Japanese destroyers Ayanami and Yugiri (both offsite links) earlier that day.
