Noteable events involving H 34 include:

30 Sep 1939
HMS H-34 (Lt. B.T. Simons, RN) fires two torpedoes at what is thought to be a German submarine 15 nautical miles north of Kinnaird Head. Both torpedoes missed. As there was no German submarine in the area the attack appears to be bogus.
