| History | Transferred to the Free French upon completion on 23 May 1942. In May 1947 she was returned to Royal Navy. In January 1948 she was sold to Chr. Salvesen & Co., Leith and converted to the steamwhaler Southern Lotus. She was used in Antarctic waters, based at Leith Harbour, South Georgia. 18 December 1966: Total loss off Denmark. Whilst in tow from Norway to Belgium for breaking up, she broke away from tow and driven ashore. |
