| History | Completed in February 1938. In August 1940 Palomares was requisitioned by the Royal Navy and converted to Anti-Aircraft ship. In December 1942 she was converted to a fighter-direction ship, fitted with radar to direct fighter aircraft. Returned to her owners in 1946. |
