| History | Completed in March 1936. Taken over by the Admiralty in August 1939. Displacement: 466 tons. HMT Warwickshire (Cdr. York McLeod Cleeves, RNR) was sunk by German aircraft off Trondheim, Norway on 30 April 1940. Raised by the Germans on 1 June 1940 and commissioned by them as NKi09/Alane. She was sunk on 19 July 1943 near Namvik, northern Norway by the Soviet submarine S-56. |
