British destroyer HMS Havant (Lt.Cdr. A.F. Burnell-Nugent, RN) was heavily damaged by German aircraft off Dunkirk during the evacuation there. Havant was sunk by HMS Saltash (Lt.Cdr. T.R. Fowke, RN).
