HMS Aragonite (Lt.Cdr. Frederick George Rogers, RNR) was mined in the English Channel off Deal in position 51º14'8"N, 01º24'59"E on a minefield laid by Commodore Bonte's German destroyers Hermann Künne, Wilhelm Heidkamp and Bernd von Arnim.
