Attacks on U-202 during this patrol

8 Sep 1942
While outbound in the Bay of Biscay the boat was attacked by British aircraft but only suffered damage to two of the torpedoes and continued the patrol. Date is approximate. (Sources: Blair, vol 2, page 52.)

29 Sep 1942
While attacking a large tanker off Trinidad U-202 was depth charged by an unidentified aircraft. The air compressor was damaged, severely limiting the boats ability to dive. She nonetheless continued her patrol and sank 2 ships before returning to base at Brest. (Sources: Blair, vol 2, page 52.)
