Attacks on U-141 during this patrol

5 May 1941
The U-boat was attacked by a Hudson aircraft (RAF Sqdn 269, Sgt C.H. Eatley) about 50 miles behind convoy OB-318. The damage from the three depth charges forced the U-boat to abort the patrol. A Whitley aircraft, HMS Electra (H 27) and HMS Escapade (H 17) were directed to the scene, but did not locate the U-boat. (Sources: Kenneth Wynn)
