Descripton: A biography including substantial material written by Gallery himself, with an introduction by his good friend Herman Wouk. Of special interest are the sections having to do with the capture of the U-505, keeping it afloat while towing it into port, and later moving it to Chicago, where it is now the showpiece of the Museum of Science and Industry.
