Katastrofa Laconie

Descripton: This book gives a general account of the Laconia Affair. This was a very unusual case in which 3 German U-boats were attacked by a US B-24 Liberator bomber while flying the Red Cross and trying to rescue hundreds of Italian POWs and others from drowning. This book was published in the early 1970s (almost unbelievable - published during the period of strictest Communist rule!) and can sometimes be found in public libraries.
