Descripton: As its title suggests, this book focuses on U-boat shore landings or approaches, most in the course of special missions (dropping off spies and saboteurs, setting up weather stations, attempting to pick up escaped POWs, etc.). U-boats discussed at some length include U-37 U-65, U-202, U-1229, U-1230, U-213, U-518, U-536, U-537, U-66, U-380, U-760, U-212, U-703, U-355, U-365, U-354 and U-722. Many other boats are mentioned more briefly.
