In some sources U-2370 was commissioned on 15 April, 1944.
According to the planned commander of the boat Oblt. Bornkessel U-2370 was never commisioned and was scuttled unfinished on 3 May, 1945 in the U-boat pillbox \'Fink II\' Hamburg.
