Contest was sunk in position 48.04N 07.30W; she was manouvering to stand by the torpedoed 'City of Lincoln' when hit by a torpedo onthe port side aft.

This was only 30 minutes after the merchant vessel was attacked .... suggest that whoever attacked City of Lincoln also attacked Contest ....
