U-129 Demanged in Mexican Gulf

<HTML>Hello, im a Mexican and been searching information about the participation of Mexico in the WWII, as everybody here knows, Mexico entered the war against the axis after a U boat sunk the Mexican Ship called "Potrero del Llano", a few months after that, Mexico started the defense of the coast, im not sure of the date but about the month of july in 1942 a Mexican airplane an AT-6 Texan drop 100lbs bombs over a U-boat, the U-129 and demanged it, What really happen then? this really happen? how much demange it did? plase more info, because this part of history is almost forgotten here in Mexico, Thanks</HTML>
