Summary

In a Laconia-like scenario, an Italian submarine which carries on its own deck survivors of ships it has sunk, is faced with a difficult decision when menaced by an enemy destroyer - submerge and sacrifice its human cargo, or remain surfaced and face its own probable destruction.
