Summary

During World War II, two enemy subs arrive in a neutral port. Friendship develops between the two crews, knowing that soon they will have to sail and perhaps fight each other.

Beta Som was the name of the Italian Atlantic Submarine Squadron based in Bordeaux.

The film was distributed in English by Warner Bros., under the title Torpedo Bay and in French under the name Défi à Gibraltar. The original Italian name, previous to distribution, was Finche Dura la Tempesta.
