Attacks on U-806 during this patrol

24 Dec 1944
Spotting two convoys the boat attacked and destroyed one of the escorts, the Canadian minesweeper HMCS Clayoquot. The escorts aggressively hunted the boat but she eluded them and retreated from the attack. (Sources: Blair, vol 2, page 648)
