Attacks on U-358 during this patrol
5 May 1943
The attack on 5 May, 1943 south of Cape Farewell, Greenland in position 54.56N, 43.44W, by depth charges from the British corvette HMS Pink formerly credited with sinking the U-192 was actually against U-358 inflicting severe damage. (Sources: 1991-10-01, FDS/NHB)
