U-boat attacks on Sailing vessel Argos
| Date | U-boat | Loss type | Position | Location | Route | Cargo | Casualties | |
| 1 | 15 Feb 1917 | UC 66 (Herbert Pustkuchen) | Sunk | Biscay SW of Sables d\'Olonne | 46.19N, 01.59W | Fishing | 0 | |
| Argos, master Louis Huguet, had just started fishing when shells fired by a submarine 500m away, surrounded the sloop. The fishermen evacuated hastily and as they were boarding a boat, a direct hit made the Argos sink almost immediately. The 5 men then pulled for the coast where they landed safely.
