HMS Kelt (T/Lt. S.C. Callister, RNR) picks up 24 survivors from the Norwegian tanker Sydhav that was torpedoed and sunk the previous day by the German submarine U-505 south-west of Freetown in position 04º47'N, 14º57'W.
