30 Mar 1943
HMS Burra (T/Lt. W.J.C. Harrison, RNVR) picks up the sole survivor from the small Egyptian merchant Rousdi that was torpedoed and sunk two days earlier by German U-boat U-81 north-west of Majdal in position 31°46'N, 34°23'E.
