| Notes on loss | At 20.06 hours on 10 Jun, 1942, the unescorted L.A. Christensen (Master A. Høst Olsen) was torpedoed by U-129 and sank within 10 minutes. All men abandoned ship in the lifeboats and the U-boat questioned them and gave navigational assistance. The survivors were picked up that same evening by Bill and taken to Bermuda on 12 June. | ||
