| Notes on loss | At 04.09 hours on 2 Dec, 1940, Ville dŽArlon (Master Albert Wilding) was hit aft by one torpedo from U-47 after dropping astern of convoy HX-90 due to steering troubles only a short time before. The master, 54 crew members and one passenger (DBS) were lost. | ||
