| Notes on loss | At 07.05 hours on 11 Sep, 1941, U-82 (Rollmann) fired three torpedoes at three ships in the convoy SC-42 east of Cape Farewell and observed two hits. The Empire Crossbill sank immediately and the Scania was later sunk by U-202. The Scania was abandoned after the first hit and fell behind the convoy where she was sunk by two torpedoes from U-202 at 13.32 and 13.47 hours. | ||
